Born in Wisconsin, raised in Virginia and Atlanta, educated in and a long-time resident of Boston and Cambridge, Scott’s love of Craft Beverages started early through his many moves and travels both domestically and internationally. Living in many places and traveling extensively exposed Scott to the unique passion brought by local beverage producers across the world.
Scott started his career in Finance at GE in Louisville, KY where he learned equal parts bourbon and horse racing as balance sheets and financial models. Looking to switch career paths to something he was more passionate about, Scott returned to Boston to get his MBA and honed in on the local Craft Beer Industry. After working for several local breweries in many fields on the supply side of the business, Scott saw an opportunity for a new approach to retail, one that focused on Craft Beer, Craft Spirits and interesting wines in a unique but approachable store format. The idea for Reveler was born and he is excited to welcome you into the shop!

A Newton native, Matt has been in the restaurant and beverage industry for years. His love of Craft Beer helped fuel his desire to advance within the beer industry, which led to his applying at Reveler to be part of our opening team in 2017. Starting as a Sales Associate, Matt quickly took over the beer program at Reveler within a year. He has since grown the beer program to the impressive offering it is today, including creating Reveler's Beer Club (sign up today!). He has since added to his title of Chief Beer Guy, becoming Reveler's Assistant GM as well. He's not just a Beer Guy- you'll be surprised at his knowledge of wine, spirits and specialty foods - so, make sure to test his knowledge on anything at Reveler!
